Yesterday, the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists merged. Now the SAG-AFTRA union represents more than 150 thousand movie and media professionals. SAG-AFTRA will have national offices in New York and Los Angeles as well as local offices nationwide.

Cities4Life is underway in Charlotte, NC. Screenings are at the Ayrsley Cinemas and admission is free.

Featuring all varieties of shorts and feature length movies the Cucalorus Film Festival is accepting submissions for it's 18th annual festival to be held November 8th through 11th in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Known for it's irreverent attitude as well as the parties, music, and trock n' roll atmosphere. You won't find the red carpet treatment here. Instead it's all about the audience and artist interaction.
