Extras needed for A Doll's House with Ben Kingsley being filmed in Cincinnati, Ohio this spring.

This movie is based on the play by Henrik Ibsen about a woman married to an overbearing husband who is trying to find out who she really is. Meanwhile the drama builds as a financial crisis looms.


Clover Casting is taking applications and will be needing between 900 and 1400 extras during the course of filming.

I, Alex Cross, a movie adapted from the novel by James Patterson, is seeking extras for filming in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Plot:
Detective Alex Cross discovers a distant family member has been murdered.  After some investigation he finds even more mysterious deaths that seem to point to someone within the White House.

Tyler Perry (I Can Do Bad All By Myself), Jean Reno (The Professional), and Matthew Fox (Lost) will be starring in this feature film.

Tomorrow, July 15th and Saturday, July 16th an extras casting call will be held for The Avengers movie in Cleveland, Ohio.  I ran across a great video on what to expect and how to prepare to be an extra for this movie.  You will find a link to it below.  It has some practical advice for becoming an extra in any movie and what to expect when you arrive at the casting call.

Checklist:
  • 18+ years old.
  • Well groomed.
  • Wear business executive outfit.
  • Bring pen to complete application
  • Photos will be taken at the casting call.

Casting: SafeAuto Commercial

The infamous SafeAuto jingle is the focus of a nationwide contest.  Fans can create their own versions of the song and film themselves performing it.  Submissions will be accepted until January. 

Winners of the contest will receive $5,000 as well as a spot on a television commercial.  The company will also go on a tour to film applicants doing their version of the song.  They will be visiting these cities:

Philadelphia: August 5-7, 2011

The Avengers is wanting Wright-Patterson airmen as extras for roles such as carrier deck crew, carrier maintenance, and pilots. To be eligible you must be attached to the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base  

Starring in The Avengers - Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Lou Ferrigno, Felicia Day, Mark Ruffalo, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Pay will be $10 an hour and overtime for work over 8 hours.  If asked to do something more than extra work the pay will be increased. Catered meals will be provided. Filming will be at the Wilmington Air Park in early August.

You must have your supervisor's permission, fill out the IMT AF Form 3902 for Off-Duty Employment and be in leave status. Permissive TDY is not authorized

Casting call for The Avengers being filmed in the Cleveland, Ohio area.  They are needing extras on two days in mid July.  The film will employ hundreds of cast and crew during the course of production.

Casting Extras: Fun Size - Cleveland, OH

Fun Size a feature length movie being shot in Cleveland, Ohio from June through August is looking for extras.  Expecting to use over 1,500 extras during the course of filming.

Johnny Knoxville and Josh Pence have been tapped to star the film.

Because the movie takes place during Halloween most of the extras will be shot in costume.

Extras: 6 years and older. Parent of Guardian must accompany extras under the age of 18 on set. Parents and children can both be extras.


When applying include a photo in a Halloween costume if you can and the name of the costume.  Also, if under 18, include parent/guardian contact information.

Casting Call: "Time Borrowers" - Cleveland, OH

Casting call for Time Borrowers a short film being shot in Cleveland, Ohio on a Saturday in June.  A paid job the film is set in the 1890s in New York and is about a time traveling treasure hunter.

Roles:

  • Milo: As a time traveling treasure hunter in the 1890's Milo must adapt to the nature of his surroundings. He is a younger slender male in his late 20's.
  • Time Marshal: The Time Marshal is a law abiding citizen only doing his job. He's older then Milo in his mid to late 30's time and age show on him. He's carries a few extra pounds on him as well.

Audition by invitation only will be held June 4th.
