Attention Portsmouth, NH area actors (non-Equity):

Male Role: Character ages 24 to 74

Paul H. Goodwin is producing a show he wrote at Players' Ring in Portsmouth, NH, called "The Smallest Room in the House" as part of their Late Night Summer Series (July 5 to 14, two weekends), directed by Deb Barry. We have a great cast but just need to fill one last role, the character of "Don." We are hoping to see people as soon as possible (this week or weekend).

Synopsis: The Smallest Room in the House is a five character, five act play that spans 50 years, starting in 1957 and running though 2007, all the while taking place in the bathroom of the couple, John and Margie (the other characters being their children and best friend). In 1957, we meet John and Margie on the night of their wedding while they are still getting to know each other. We check in again 5 years later (1962), then jump ahead 15 years later (1977), 10 years (1987), and finally 20 years (2007). What do we learn? A lifetime can occur in the smallest room in the house.

An emergency replacement actor is needed for the character "Hoke" in Driving Miss Daisy.
