The winners of the 48 Hour Film Project in Denver will be announced this weekend at the Best of Screening event.  Winners will will represent Denver at Filmapalooza and will have a chance to become the 48 Hour Film Project Film of the Year.

Casting Call: Survivor - Colorado

Casting for Survivor, a CBS reality series, will be held mid September in the Denver Colorado area at the Golden Mardi Gras Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado.  The prize going to the winning survivor is one million dollars.


Checklist:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Excellent physical and mental health.
  • You must authorize a background check.
  • You must complete a medical history form.
  • Psychological and physicals tests will be performed on semi-finalists.
  • As a semi-finalist you will need a U.S. passport.
  • You cannot be a member of public office until after the broadcast of all episodes of the season have been broadcast.

The Candlelight Dinner Playhouse is holding auditions for Scrooge! The Musical on Monday, July 25th for adults and Tuesday July 26th for ages 10 - 17.

Paid non-equity roles for singers, dancers, and actors.


Audition by appointment olny:

To schedule an appointment call the box office at 970.744.3747 beginning July 12th.

Adults: Monday, July 25th 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Ages 10 - 17: Tuesday, July 26th 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Ran across this fella, Michael Brown, that will take his students all over the world tutoring them in the craft of outdoor filmmaking.  Michael is a three time Emmy Award winner and his students have created award winning films in locations such as South America, Asia, and Africa as well as the United States.  At the end of each school every student will have a solid short film and will be better equipped to broaden their horizons as a filmmaker.


in addition to Michael the school has five other instructiors:

Arlynn Ilgenfritz 
A graduate of Vanderbilt University she has been an art director, ski instructor, a deckhand, and an adventure guide.

Scott McElroy 
A director, video editor, and motion graphics artist experience in documentaries, narratives, and commercial film.
